What is Basic Car Inspection about?
Engine breakdown? Flat tyre? Engine difficult to start? These are the most common car problems we do not want happening, especially during a long road trip
While it may take a trained mechanic to service your car, it does not take one to inspect it. In this course you will understand what keeps a car rolling safely on the road and how you should ensure they remain in good working order. In this short course we also cover the necessary steps to be taken in the event of a sudden vehicle breakdown.

- History of hybrid vehicle (Toyota Prius)
- History of hybrid vehicle (Honda Insight)

- Classification of hybrid electric vehicles
- Levels of hybrid vehicles
- High voltage safety
- High voltage safety equipment and electric shock potential
- De-powering the high voltage system
2. Practical Training
- Using safety equipment to identify the HV cables
- Disable power source
- Locating HV battery voltage
- Checking auxiliary battery voltage
- Safety measures before dismantling HV battery
- Remove and install HV battery
- Service battery cooling system
- Jump starting
